Mattresses Unboxing Naturepedic Mattress

We’ve covered the basics, now let’s get to the mattress. Naturepedic has quite the catalog to choose from. Here’s a list listing all the most requested mattresses Naturepedic has to offer.

Chorus

The first mattress to take note is the Chorus. This is a hybrid mattress with a medium fitness, making it a balanced choice for all body and sleeper types.

This is a medium-firm mattress. While this is good for all sleeper types, this is definitely a worthy choice for those who are stomach and back sleepers

The cover is made from a mixture of wool, natural cotton, and a PLA material. PLA is a non-GMO sugarcane well known for durability and moisture-wicking.

The mattress has both micro spring coils and individually wrapped coils as well as two layers of organic wool batting. There are two layers of organic wool batting between the microcoils, individually wrapped coils, as well as one between the individually wrapped coils.

The microcoils beneath the cover give the cover that bounce and support it. Pressure relief is provided by the individually wrapped coils. You don’t have to worry about pain or waking up with sore muscles. The medium firmness of the coils ensures that your spine stays supported throughout the night.

Apart from pressure relief, this mattress also shines in motion isolation. This aspect is responsible for making your sleep undisturbed. You don’t have to be concerned if your partner moves around in bed.

This is an entry point option, being the most affordable one, sitting at around $1,199-$2,499.

Serenade

This mattress is very similar to the Chorus. A key difference is that this has latex.

This latex is not chemically manufactured. The latex in question is naturally made from rubber tree sap. This allows for both pressure point relief as well as temperature regulation, making the surface of your bed cool and relaxing.

The edge support is also something worth noting. Are you worried that you will fall asleep or slip on the edge of your bed? Fear not, the pillars in the top layer will make it impossible for such an event to happen. So you can feel secure when you end up sleeping at the side of the bed.

Firmness wise, this mattress offers two levels to choose from. The one is firm and the other is comfortable firm.

Price range is slightly higher than the Chorus, sitting at around $1,699-$3,599.

Twin $1,699
Twin XL $1,999

The first two, Original and Pillowtop, are quite similar in terms of design. Both of them have a 3″ thick layer of organic latex. It is covered by an 8-inch thick layer of individually wrapped coils that helps with motion isolation and cooling.

The Pillowtop is a pillowtop. This adds another 3″ layer of thickness on top of the organic latex as well as more areas for customization. If you prefer to have a pillowtop in your mattress, then this will be for you.

There are four choices for firmness. There are four options for firmness: plush, cushion firm or extra firm.

There’s more! If you buy queen-size or larger, you can have different comfort levels for each side. Let’s say you want your side to be medium firm but your partner prefers something much softer. You can have both.

Trilux is the last one of the three with an all foam layering system. This is an excellent choice if you don’t have a latex allergy or are sensitive to pressure relief.

Are They backed by a warranty?

They all come with a limited warranty of twenty-five years. Accessories have a warranty of one year.

Are They Available in Stores?

Even though they sell online, they also have their mattresses shown in show rooms in the United States. The Halcyon brand is the only one that can be purchased in stores. You can purchase them in stores like Crate & Barrel and Pottery Barn.

Are Organic Mattresses Safer Than Gas?

Off-gassing refers to the strong scent that comes out of the mattress when you take it out of the box. This usually is the case because of the chemicals that may be part of the mattress.

This is not a problem because the materials used are organic. It is possible to smell “stale air”, but it isn’t as strong as the usual off-gassing. Also the scent shouldn’t last that long.

How Do I Clean The Mattress?

Naturepedic recommends their customers to use an organic waterproof protector pad. This will ensure that no liquid is allowed to seep into the mattress.

If this happens, you can use hydrogen peroxide to treat the area. Gently scrub the area with a damp cloth. Be sure to use soap on the cloth. Once finished, let it dry before putting on the bed sheet.
